Loved reading about Jamestown residents, and the intrigue involved in their daily lives. This book brought Jamestown to life. Clothing details, the reality of slavery, women’s rights in the colony as compared to England, the accumulation of wealth, politics, romance, this book has it all. Really wanted the story to continue.
Was most surprised about James Blair! He was not the man I thought him to be.
